Tribute Programs

The Wood County Arboretum and Botanical Gardens offers its members, donors and friends two ways to remember special people or occasions in their lives or to memorialize an event or loved one. 

 

These programs help support our efforts to maintain our beautiful gardens and to provide the community with educational workshops and lectures.

Memorial Trees

​

Memorial trees provides a permanent way to remember, honor and memorialize loved ones.  

 

In this program, you will be able to select a tree from our list to be planted in the Spring/Fall months at the Arboretum.  This sponsorship includes a permanent 5 x 7 plaque and recognition on our social media sites and in the Wood County Monitor. For an additional cost we can also plan a tree planting ceremony.

Memorial Benches

​

Memorial Benches are another way to memorialize or pay tribute to a special event, group, or loved one.  Cost includes the bench and a permanent plaque.  The exact size and features of each bench depend on availability at the time of purches.  Benches may be placed virtually anywhere on our 23 acre property.
